Nancy Grace of the National Trust helped us to name and date our pottery from Stalbridge today, with the added bonus of showing us a piece of painted plaster from Chedworth. We had a range of 17th and 18th century pieces, including tin glaze, Westerwold, stone glaze, scraffito/Donyat and Verwood ware. Look in to see some pix of the pottery fragments alongside whole pot examples.
