AGM 2019


We had a great turn out for the AGM this year. Thanks to all who came out to see what we have been doing the last twelve months and plans for 2019.


Chris Tripp gave an update of the work carried out at Stalbridge over the summer and then we discussed this years excavation program for the site. Stalbridge History Society members told us that they were very pleased with the work so far and are looking forward to more revelations this coming season.


The committee has a new secretary, Chris Northam, after Alison Williams stood down after five years hard work and commitment to DDCAG. She will still be working for the group, along with her husband Vaughan and the committee thanked her with flowers, chocolates and a card. DDCAG would not have been the success it is without her contribution, especially on the HLF bid for Nether Compton.   


A big thanks to all the work carried out by members over 2018. We are looking forward to 2019 with more events, meetings, talks and the new digging season starting in May.
